2007 IRCC "Heli Spectacular"
The Sights, but no sounds!!
November 9 - 11, 2007

Here are a few pictures taken by Gary Snyder and Rick Ruede at this years helicopter event.

These two guys are all over the place.  Rick Ruede (L) who fly's fast around in circles with his
pylon racer, or slow in a hover with his electric powered helicopter.
David DeWitt
(R) our out-going president CD's many of our club events.

Rick's new bird.  Century Agusta 109 electric powered, and performs very nicely.
Now Rick can rescue someone!!

Darrell Sprayberry from Dalton, Georgia flew his Vario electric powered Cobra.
This ship looks very realistic, and Darrell can fly it equally well.

Peter Wales owns and pilots this 1/4 scale Vario Bell 47 that is  that is powered by an electric system.

Yes - Even helicopter pilots have to eat.
Incoming IRCC President Larry Loucks along with Dean Bishop took care
of most of the kitchen duties during the helicopter event.
Word has it that the food is getting pretty good at the field these days.

"Heavy Iron" getting ready for some action!!

With the new 2.4 systems now in use, our impound staff doesn't have much to do these days.
