These guys did a great job competing, the flying was outstanding, no miss-haps in spite of the windy conditions. I think the judges did a superb job, Thanks David DeWitt, Kevin Stoltz, David McGirt and Dee Miller. Peter Wales did a demo flight with his turbine Lama on Sunday Morning, very nice.

This years event was surrounded by great weather, and a great time by all who attended. The addition of the scale contest within a larger "Fun-Fly" offers an opportunity for every level of helicopter pilot. This event will continue to grow, and the scale portion in time will become a significant event on it's own merits. The unique configuration of the IRCC complex allows for this unique arrangement to be possible. Regardless if you are a novice, the most experienced FAI or 3D expert or a "scale guy", there will always be plenty of room for you at the IRCC "Heli Spectatular". Dates for next years event will be released soon.
